Lockhart Texas is the BBQ capitol of the world. There are 2 joints in town. Smitty's and Blacks. Both are very famous. Smitty's has an attitude ( no forks , no BBQ sauce, no credit, blah blah blah.... Blacks more friendly and outdoor seating. ( Amazingly few places have outdoor seating. To us Seattleites its great but to Texans its too hot to sit outside). So our dilema was where to eat.....so we ate at both. We liked Blacks best. Ate too much. ( see next blog entry).
